It belongs to the Agasasea family and is the most popular indoor palm. Its country of origin is Central America – Mexico and Guatemala. A relatively low-grown plant, it reaches 2.5
meters in height and has a diameter of around one meter. The stem resembles a bamboo. When the tips of the leaves turn brown it is a sign that the irrigation should be limited. Possible pests are the acarids. They are removed with a soft cloth or as a last resort a special detergent is used. It’s good for the plant to be positioned at a darker place. |
